Animals teach us so many beautiful things in life and in ourselves. They teach us how to love unconditionally without expecting anything in return. Their love is one of a kind, genuine and true. From the animals we’ve met on the sidewalk, in the park, in the animal shelter they teach us valuable lessons in life. Giving our little time to interact with them wherever we are, we can take away valuable knowledge that we can not always learn from our fellow humans.

Here are some important things they can teach us:

FORGIVENESS and COMPASSION –  Animals are full of compassion, empathy and love. They have the ability to forgive us even if we make mistakes when dealing with them. No matter what kind of treatment they experiences, they don’t hold grudges nor complained. Their trust might have been damaged but their ability to forgive remains intact.

Nine lives added to my one life makes a perfect 10.
In the end only kindness matters.
Be kind to every KIND.

WORK AND HELP ONE ANOTHER – Animals work together, they work as a team, “one for all, all for one” that is how they work. No one is left, and no one carries all the weight while others just taking their time sitting or looking around. With this simple act they teach us how to value one another. We should work together instead of competing with each other.

Hey bud, follow us.

FOLLOW YOUR PATH IN LIFE NO MATTER WHAT – Be like the animals in the wilderness, run freely into the wind, fly and soar no matter what the consequences might be. When we find our path, we not be afraid. We need to have enough courage to make mistakes.

Do what you love.

LISTEN MORE AND TALK LESS – Animals have a distinctive behaviour in communicating with one another. Just like the dolphins they communicate with one another via high-pitched whistling noises, and each makes a distinctive sound that other dolphins can immediately recognise.  As the maxim goes ” The Quieter You Become The More You Can Hear”.  So why not listen to another person first and not always talking, in fact this can be very beneficial in our relationships towards each other.

Listen mom!
Exercise! I though you said extra fries 🙂

BE SILLY and PLAYFUL – Animals are tend to have a silly and very playful personalities. They have a very laid back personalities and teach us to have a little fun in life every once in a while. They jump and hop around, rubbing their bodies against us, licking our feet when they want little attention. Just like the animals we must learn to embrace our inner child and make life again. Being playful makes us more creative, open-minded and have a positive outlook towards life.  Just be crazy and have fun!

Silly horse 🙂
Hop  like a bunny 🙂

ACCEPTANCE – Animals don’t worry about their physical appearance. I’ve seen one-eyed kittens, three legged-dogs yet they are happy as the way they are. They don’t complain nor compare themselves to other animals. While us humans we try to compare and compete with one another. Acceptance is the best way for us to be happy and enjoy life. There is no end to possible number of comparisons. There will be also be something or someone-else to focus on.

Love yourself.

UNITY – Animals unite and having each other’s back when it comes to survival. Animals who stick together are less likely to become the victim of predators. What have we learned from this? As humans we should set aside our differences instead we should unite and work together and focused on what we all have in common.

Don’t worry bud, I got your back.
Happiness is being with my friends.

What about you, what have animals taught your during your life so far? I would love to hear from you.

My heart belongs to animals. My mom taught me how to be kind and loving to animals. She is an animal rescuer and I love what she is doing. Now, I am the voice of the voiceless. The love of an animal is pure and true. I looked at all the caged animals in the shelter, the cast off of human society. I saw in their eyes love, hope, fear, dread, sadness and betrayal. I was angry. “GOD” I said, “Why don’t you do something? and God replied” I did. I created you”. Now, I am an active rescuer of homeless and stray animals like my mom. I want to be the voice of the voiceless because animal abuse, cruelty, neglect and abandonment are contrary to my life-long values of love and compassion towards all animal which I learned from my mom. I want to be the voice for the voiceless because not enough is being done to help prevent animal abuses and neglect! I am working on having my voice heard for those who don’t have a voice. Ringo is one of our rescued kittens. My mom found him in Silay Public Plaza, abandoned, hungry, frightened and scared. So thin and hopeless. With so much love, care, family he can call his own and proper nourishment, Ringo is now a healthy, happy, loving kitten. A dog, cat…pets are FOREVER please don’t dump them like garbage…they have feelings too.

Gratitude Day celebrated annually  on the 21st September.  Gratitude Day allows us to celebrate the brand meaning of gratitude in a variety ways.

The origins of World Gratitude Day started in 1965 in Hawaii when an international gathering decided that it would be a good idea to have one day per year to formally express gratitude and appreciation for the many wonderful things to be found in the world. Following the meeting in Hawaii, many attendees marked Gratitude Day on 21st September 1966 when back in their own countries. Ever since, the number of people celebrating Gratitude Day across the world has grown and grown.
